How to add more than 5 accounts on Instagram

Have you ever wanted to add more than 5 accounts on Instagram? In this article we are going to show you the best ways to manage multiple Instagram accounts on your device without having to log in and out.

We know the 5-account maximum capacity on Instagram can be a pain especially when you have several accounts need attention. Luckily there are a few loopholes which allow you to manage several accounts at once. We will discuss the best ones here.

For those of you who are more visual, check out the video below for a full guide.

How to log into more than 5 accounts on Instagram for Android

  1. Download an app cloner from the play store.

You will need to download an app cloner to manage more than 5 accounts on your device. App cloners are apps which duplicate other apps on your device. This will be incredibly handy for those trying to manage several users on Instagram.

The best app cloners for this method are Parallel SpaceDualspace and Dr. Clone. Feel free to experiment with any others you may find as the Android Google Play Store has many options. For the sake of this example we will use Duelspace.

  1. Duplicate Instagram with your app cloner.

Next, you will need to duplicate the Instagram app with the cloner. This will give you two different versions of the app on your device.

  1. Create a shortcut icon.

For ease of use it’s advisable that you create a shortcut of the duplicate app next to your original app. This allows you to quickly switch between the two Instagram apps.

  1. Log in to your account.

Finally you can log in to your accounts. We advise adding only one new account per day. You do not want to fill out all 5 accounts on your duplicate Instagram account too quickly as it may look suspicious.

How to log into more than 5 accounts on Instagram for iPhone

Unfortunately for iOS devices such as iPhones the process is not as smooth as with Android devices. App cloners do not work the same on iOS unless you have a jailbroken iPhone. The guide below is for those without a jailbroken iPhone. Instead of using the app we will be using the mobile website version of Instagram to log in to our devices.

  1. Download Parallel Space from the App Store.

Go to the app store and download the Parallel Space app. Unfortunately the app is no longer free. The app comes with a 3-day free trial you can cancel anytime. Test it out for a day and see if this method works for you before you commit to purchasing.

  1. Create a new account and add an ‘Insta account’.

You need to create a profile in the app and then add a new Instagram account.

  1. Log in to your account.

You can log in to your account now and the mobile version of Instagram will run through the app. To add more Instagram profiles simply press the plus button and add another account.

In this version of Instagram you can still upload photos/videos, direct message people and use most of the features available on the app. A pop up will ask you to open the app version of Instagram. Decline this request as it will open your original Instagram app.

Instagram 5 account limit destroyed

We have shown you how you can easily log in to more than 5 accounts on Instagram. So the next question is ‘what is the limit?’

The amount of accounts you can log into at once is not static. We recommend logging in to no more than 10 accounts on your device using the methods shown in this article. For the best results we suggest using various clone apps. The clone apps create a unique device ID which allows you to bypass Instagram’s limits.

Other variables contributing to the number of accounts you can log in to at once are your IP and account actions.

Having numerous accounts all under the same IP is a bad idea unless you are using your mobile data or a mobile proxy. When using your mobile data, your IP address will be shared with dozens if not hundreds of other people helping to mask your accounts.

Doing too many actions on your accounts can also be a red flag for Instagram. This can lead to shadowbans and action blocked messages. We suggest logging in to each account primarily to reply to comments and messages as well as post content. Doing hundreds of follow/unfollows on several accounts is a bad idea regardless of how careful you are.

How to know when you have gone too far

Just like everything in life there are limits. You will know you have reached these limits if Instagram abruptly logs you out of your account and asks you to verify your phone number or complete some other task. If you receive an error message when trying to log in to another account you would have likely reached your limits.

Take note of the number of accounts you have logged in to your account and try not to surpass this number the next time you attempt this strategy. Avoid using more than 5 accounts on your device for a week before attempting again.

Disclaimer

Although logging in to more than 5 accounts is possible, it is not within Instagram’s user guidelines. We do not recommend you log in to any account you hold valuable as you might potentially lose it (the probability is small but is still there).
